We will kick off today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday. Mary, Martha, and Lazarus were Jesus’ friends. Unfortunately, Lazarus became sick and eventually died. 1 Cor.15:42-43 “…Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.” (emphasis added).
I can imagine the scene; Jesus was taken to the cross and the disciples were thinking, “He told us last night that He would be alive, and we will come alive.” Instead, they saw Jesus crucified on the cross.
