John 7:3-5 “and Jesus’ brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea, where your followers can see your miracles! You can’t become famous if you hide like this! If you can do such wonderful things, show yourself to the world!” For even his brothers didn’t believe in him.”

1Jn.1:1 “We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.” (emphasis added).
John was big on love and relationship; he is known as the Apostle of Love. John is the one who would tell us in his letters that, “God is love; he that loveth not knoweth not God…” [1 John 4:7-8 please read]. James had a similar theme, but John was heavily focused on love. John 12: 24 “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.”
We will kick off today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday. Mary, Martha, and Lazarus were Jesus’ friends. Unfortunately, Lazarus became sick and eventually died. 1 Cor.15:42-43 “…Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.” (emphasis added).
I can imagine the scene; Jesus was taken to the cross and the disciples were thinking, “He told us last night that He would be alive, and we will come alive.” Instead, they saw Jesus crucified on the cross. 1 Cor. 1:30 “…a clean slate and a fresh start come from God by way of Jesus Christ.” (MSG, emphasis added).
When we come into God’s presence, it is so important that we open our hearts to God, His Word, and to all that God is doing. Do not take it for granted that it will happen every time you come into God’s presence. Be deliberate about it. Read the rest of this entry

Rom. 8:35&37 “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity… No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” (emphasis added)
Resurrection power is the power that we all need to cancel our past and to change our person. Thirdly, the resurrection power is the power we all need To Conquer Your Problems. Everybody has problems; problems are normal to life. Read the rest of this entry
