The “Why”

Matthew 16:25-26 “Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?” (MSG)

We have looked at all the major aspects of life, our finances, our relationships, physical health, mental health, and so on, that we need to have in place to have a fully transformed life. Over the next few days, we will be focusing on vocational or work metamorphosis. Read the rest of this entry

Save. Invest. Repay.

Proverbs 13:11 “Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.”

If I want to experience financial metamorphosis, I Must Trust God As My Source And Supplier, I Must Keep Good Records, I Must Give The First 10% Back To God, and I Must Save And Invest For The Future. The truth is, “If you cannot save money, Read the rest of this entry

Source & Steward

Matthew 25:19 “After a long time their master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they had used his money.”

To experience financial metamorphosis, the first thing is, I Must Trust God As My Source And Supplier. Your job is not your source. Your business is not your source. Most times, we are so guarded when it comes to our jobs, our careers, Read the rest of this entry

Pay It Forward

2 Timothy 2:2 “You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.” (emphasis added).

Today’s anchor scripture highlights four generations. Paul says the things I have taught you, Timothy, you need to entrust to other people, teach and coach them so that they would be able to pass it on to the next generation. Everyone is supposed to have a four generational influence at the least, Read the rest of this entry

In Truth

Philippians 4:8 “Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honourable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.” (TPT)

The number one purpose for your life cannot be for you to love God. You cannot begin to love God if you do not know what it is for God to love you. And it is because our love for God is a response to God’s love for us. 1 John 4:19We love Him because He first loved us.” (NKJV). Read the rest of this entry

Created To Endure

Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” (NKJV)

God’s Word to us today is Arise and Shine. Why would God be telling us to arise and shine at such a time as this? Is that not counter-intuitive? However, I believe very strongly in my heart that God is speaking to you and to me and He is saying Arise and Shine. Read the rest of this entry

Better Together

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “It’s better to have a partner than go it alone. Share the work, share the wealth. And if one falls down, the other helps. But if there’s no one to help, tough!” (MSG)

Why do we need community? We Need Community To Make Up For Our Weaknesses. We Need Community To Bring Out The Best In Us. We Need Community To Get More Done. Ecclesiastes 4:9 Two can accomplish more than twice as much as one, for the results can be much better.” Read the rest of this entry

In Community

Luke 11:1-2 “Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Jesus said, “This is how you should pray…”

As we tackle this decade of destiny, this decade of light, in addition to choosing the Right Values and choosing the Right Guide, we need to choose the Right Team. Back to the illustration of the doors, when the light comes on, we can see the opportunities that lie ahead of us. Read the rest of this entry

Pneuma

John 14:16-17 “The Father will give you another HELPER who will be with you forever! That Helper is the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it doesn’t see or know him. But you know him, because he lives with you and will be in you.” (GW, emphasis added).

The word ‘another’, highlighted in today’s anchor scripture means, another of the same kind, of the same quality. So, we have a life guide in the person of the Holy Spirit. What makes the Holy Spirit incomparable to any city guide is that most city guides were born in the city, Read the rest of this entry

Your Choice

Genesis 13:10-11 “Lot took a long look at the fertile plains of the Jordan Valley… The whole area was well watered everywhere … Lot chose for himself the whole Jordan Valley to the east of them. He went there with his flocks and servants and parted company with his uncle Abram.”

How do you choose your future? Can you actually choose your future? Imagine, the future presents itself as a series of doors, as though one is standing in a huge room with multiple doors. If the room is dark, all the doors will not be visible. Read the rest of this entry
