Deuteronomy 8:18But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant…” (NIV).

Refocus!

1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (NKJV)

Guess what? If God is going to do things that eyes have not seen in your life, then things that eyes have not seen begin to happen to you, and you think it is strange. Do not think it is strange. It is because God is about to do that which eyes have not seen. Read the rest of this entry

Warning!

Matthew 6:14-15 “In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do. You can’t get forgiveness from God, for instance, without also forgiving others. If you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God’s part.” (MSG)

We will kick off today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday. Forgiveness is not about deserving; forgiveness is about preserving. Forgiveness is not about if ‘they’ deserve it or not. D. D. D.

Deuteronomy 30:19 “Today I am giving you a choice of two ways. And I ask heaven and earth to be witnesses of your choice. You can choose life or death. The first choice will bring a blessing. The other choice will bring a curse. So choose life! Then you and your children will live. (ERV)

We will pick up today’s devotion from Revelation 3:7-8 I hold the Key of David in my hand. The doors that I unlock and open, no one else can close. And any doors that I shut and lock, no one will ever be able to open. Now I know everything you have done. So look! I am placing before you an open door that no one can shut! I know that you are not very strong, but you’ve kept my word and you’ve been faithful to me.” (CEV, paraphrased with emphasis). Read the rest of this entry

Value System

Haggai 2:15 “Now think carefully about your choices from this point forward…” (Voice)

The choices you make are so powerful and they determine the life you live. One major way of changing anything is to change the value you place on it. You cannot claim to value your finances if you do not place value on the things God has said you should place value on. Read the rest of this entry

Choose Life

Psalm 119:29-30 “Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law. I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.”

Deuteronomy 30:17-19 But if you disobey and refuse to listen, and are led away to worship other gods, you will be destroyed. You will not live long in that land across the Jordan that you are about to occupy. I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God’s blessing or curse, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life! (TEV, emphasis added). Your Choice

Genesis 13:10-11 “Lot took a long look at the fertile plains of the Jordan Valley… The whole area was well watered everywhere … Lot chose for himself the whole Jordan Valley to the east of them. He went there with his flocks and servants and parted company with his uncle Abram.”

How do you choose your future? Can you actually choose your future? Imagine, the future presents itself as a series of doors, as though one is standing in a huge room with multiple doors. If the room is dark, all the doors will not be visible. Read the rest of this entry
