Right Order

Acts 17:28 (TPT) “It is through him that we live and function and have our identity; just as your own poets have said, ‘Our lineage comes from him.’”

We need to start living for the things we need to live for. Do not make the things you need to live on the things you are living for. Do not make your car what you are living for or a motorcycle rider will teach you a lesson. Read the rest of this entry

Seek Him

1 Sam.30:8 “Then David asked the Lord, “Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?” And the Lord told him, “Yes, go after them. You will surely recover everything that was taken from you!”

The Church must of necessity depend on God’s voice. Seek to know His heart, to hear His voice and know His direction. This is how we operate in God’s Favourite House. Read the rest of this entry

The Focus

Ex.33:19 “The Lord replied, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you. For I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.” [with emphasis]

What you do tells a story of what you actually believe. A man told his pastor that heaven and hell cannot really exist. “Why do you say that?”, his pastor asked. Read the rest of this entry

Rev.21:“And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.”

Life presents crossroad situations to everyone. Crossroads are critical because destinies are determined at crossroads. Very often, we worry about the destination but when we choose the right path, we have chosen the right destination. Read the rest of this entry

What Matters

Heb. 11:10 For he was [waiting expectantly and confidently] looking forward to the city which has fixed and firm foundations, whose Architect and Builder is God.” (AMPC)

Acts 1:So when the apostles were with Jesus, they kept asking him, “Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?” He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere…”. Jesus had demonstrated His power, Read the rest of this entry

The Way

Jn.14:6 (NKJV) “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

The illustration in today’s devotional is not original, the Holy Spirit drew it for me. This is an attempt to graphically capture what He drew. I am just communicating what I have received of the Lord, so please pay attention because Read the rest of this entry

1Cor.2:14 “The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. (ESV)

There is no shame in asking, you only become better and wiser by asking. Some men have kept their families on the same spot for years, for decades because of ego. If you need wisdom, just humble yourself and ask God for it. Read the rest of this entry

Advance Decisions

John 14:“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

Are you going to follow Jesus or not? The decision of who you are going to follow changes the course of your life forever. Am I going to abort the baby or keep the baby? Read the rest of this entry

Armed & Dangerous

Mark 3:27 Let me illustrate this further. Who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.

When you enter the house of a strong man, you have to deal with the strong man first before you plunder and take possession of his goods. Read the rest of this entry

Dan.1:8 “But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king. He asked the chief of staff for permission not to eat these unacceptable foods” [emphasis added].

People may be attracted to packaging but it is the content that will determine if it is money well spent or not. Imagine buying a cereal from the supermarket,
