2 Samuel 22:33 “God is my strong fortress, and he makes my way perfect.”
We will pick up from where we left off yesterday and that is in James 1:2-4 “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colours. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” (MSG). Read the rest of this entry
To make the most of your life, to have mental metamorphosis, to enjoy consistent mental health the first thing is, Do Not Believe Everything You THINK. 2 Timothy 2:2 “You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.” (emphasis added).
Today’s anchor scripture highlights four generations. Paul says the things I have taught you, Timothy, you need to entrust to other people, teach and coach them so that they would be able to pass it on to the next generation. Everyone is supposed to have a four generational influence at the least, Read the rest of this entry
Psalm 84:6 “When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings”
The first of the four guaranteed valleys is The Valley of Siddim. The Valley of Siddim is the Valley of failure. The second Valley is The Valley of Eshcol. The Valley of Eshcol is the Valley of Fear, of intimidation, of inferiority complex. The third is The Valley of Elah. Read the rest of this entry
Romans 3:23-24 “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.”

1 Kings 9:3 “And God said to him, “I’ve listened to and received all your prayers, your ever-so-passionate prayers.” (MSG).
We need to express our desires to God with emotions just like Daniel did. Daniel 9:3 “And I prayed earnestly to the Lord God, pleading with him…”. Daniel was pleading with God endlessly in prayer with passion. This is the same God that made this promise of deliverance. Read the rest of this entry
Daniel 9:2-3 “I found out from studying the writings of the prophets that the Lord had said to Jeremiah, “Jerusalem will lie in ruins for 70 years.” Then, to show my sorrow… I confessed my sins and earnestly prayed to the Lord my God” (CEV)
I have told you several stories of how I saw things that totally changed my life in the scriptures. and till today they still are that powerful. So, what did Daniel read in the book of Jeremiah? This is so beautiful. Contained in Jeremiah’s ‘bestselling book’ , Jeremiah 29:10-12 “This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.” (emphasis added). 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (KJV)
Daniel’s prayer started with God speaking to Daniel and Daniel getting to understand through God’s Word. When you read Daniel 9, you see that Daniel’s prayer started with God. For instance, you may be trusting God to be excellent in your business. Read the rest of this entry
Psalm 27:8 “My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”
Our third lesson from Daniel about praying in and through a crisis is, I Let God Speak to Me Before I Speak to Him. And this is huge. I pray through a crisis when I let God speak to me before I speak to Him. We often pray in a hurry. Calm down because everything originates from God, everything. Read the rest of this entry
