The Focus

John 17:1 “After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you.” (emphasis added).

When it was close to the hour of His crucifixion, Jesus narrowed the focus of His prayers. Jesus said in John 17:9&20 My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.” (emphasis added). Face To Face

John 17:9&20 “My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you… “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.”

You will live long in Jesus Name! However, if you knew that you will die in a few hours, you know that if you pray God will answer your prayers, what three things will top your prayer list apart from extension of life? Yes And No

Gen.37:10 “This time he told the dream to his father as well as to his brothers, but his father scolded him. “What kind of dream is that?” he asked. “Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow to the ground before you?”

Over the past few days, we have learned that Mary was an executionist and she had power with God. Mary used her power with God to change and influence things for others. We have seen from the example of Mary that when you have power with God, you can change things. Read the rest of this entry

Personified

Pray & Change

Matt.5:43-44 (ERV)You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies. Pray for those who treat you badly.”

 

Schedule your leisure, practice encouragement, bask in encouragement and pray for the source of your discouragement. I actually enjoy doing this. As it is popularly said, hurting people hurt people. Read the rest of this entry

Going Through

Heb.4:15-16 “This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

This Jesus that tells us not to stop calling had to go through this Himself. Please read Matt.26:36-46. Have you ever gotten to a point on a certain issue where you say to God, ‘if it is possible, let this be taken away’? Have you ever gotten to a point where you say to God, this is too hard for me? Everyone

New Attitude
