On Purpose

2 Corinthians 5:20 “So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

Why church, why do we exist? Yesterday, we began to look at the first of four reasons which is, We Exist To Celebrate God’s Presence [Worship]. We exist to worship Him because the Father seeks people who worship Him in spirit and in truth. And when we say we exist to celebrate God’s Presence that is what it should be. Refocus!

1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (NKJV)

Guess what? If God is going to do things that eyes have not seen in your life, then things that eyes have not seen begin to happen to you, and you think it is strange. Do not think it is strange. It is because God is about to do that which eyes have not seen. Read the rest of this entry

Reveal & Release

Psalm 32:3 “When I kept things to myself, I felt weak deep inside me. I moaned all day long.” (NCV).

This is the decade of destiny and God is rearranging and repositioning things, can you see it? New things are about to burst forth and are bursting forth already, can you see it? However, you have to be emotionally sound to take advantage of all that God is doing. Read the rest of this entry

Just Come

Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]” (AMPC).

Over the next few days, God is taking us on a journey of emotional metamorphosis. God wants you to have a transformation even in your emotional health. God wants you to have healing in your emotions and be emotionally healthy. Your emotional health is big with God. Read the rest of this entry

The Seven

Matthew 28:19-20 “…wherever you go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day….” (TPT)

Imagine you get to heaven, walking on the streets of gold, relishing the scenery, and enjoying the presence of Jehovah. Then somebody walks up to you and says, ‘Thank you! It is because of you that I made it here’. And you are like, ‘I do not even know you…’ and the person says, ‘Yes, you do not know me. Read the rest of this entry

Pay It Forward

2 Timothy 2:2 “You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.” (emphasis added).

Today’s anchor scripture highlights four generations. Paul says the things I have taught you, Timothy, you need to entrust to other people, teach and coach them so that they would be able to pass it on to the next generation. Everyone is supposed to have a four generational influence at the least, Read the rest of this entry

Daily Walk

Psalm 17:4-5 “I’m not trying to get my way in the world’s way. I’m trying to get your way, your Word’s way. I’m staying on your trail; I’m putting one foot in front of the other. I’m not giving up.” (MSG)

If you want to be spiritually healthy, there are seven things you need to do to experience metamorphosis in your spiritual life. There are little things that nobody sees that you need to do consistently. The first is, You Must LOVE JESUS Supremely and the second thing is You Must MEET WITH HIM Daily. Picture of Grace

Romans 8:31 “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (NIV).

Your picture and understanding of God determines the quality of your life. When it comes to grace, people tend to be on one extreme or the other. One extreme projects God as the big man up there with a big stick waiting for you to make a mistake so that He can whack your head. One extreme says God is graceless. Read the rest of this entry

Cry Out!

Matthew 20:31-34 “…But they only shouted louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” When Jesus heard them, he stopped and called, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord,” they said, “we want to see!” Jesus felt sorry for them and touched their eyes. Instantly they could see!…”

The lifeguards tell us that they cannot save someone as long as the person is trying to save himself or herself. So, the more the person struggles, the more he or she drowns. The more you try to do it in your strength, the faster you go down. The lifeguard is trained to do two things when someone is drowning. Read the rest of this entry

Faith Is… I

Hebrews 11:1 “What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.” (LB, emphasis added).

Before we begin to look at growing our faith, let us first answer the question, what is faith? The first thing we need to realize about faith is that Faith Is Higher Than HOPE. Hope is wanting something to be that is not, and having no assurance that it will be. Read the rest of this entry
