On Purpose

2 Corinthians 5:20 “So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

Why church, why do we exist? Yesterday, we began to look at the first of four reasons which is, We Exist To Celebrate God’s Presence [Worship]. We exist to worship Him because the Father seeks people who worship Him in spirit and in truth. And when we say we exist to celebrate God’s Presence that is what it should be. Your Response, VII

John 15:16 “You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.”

During photoperiodism, pollination and cross-pollination happens, and seeds and fruits are formed. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, because God’s light is rising upon you today, you are going to bear fruit. You are going to be fruitful in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

Favour O’ Clock

Ps.44:3 “They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you favoured them.” (NLT, KJV, emphasis added)

Twelve years ago, on this very day, God’s Favourite House had her first Worship experience, and we are grateful to God for all that He has done with His church thus far. We thank God for all that He is doing even now, and we are in awe of God for what He is set to do. Read the rest of this entry

Fruiting

Matt.7:20 “Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.”

Gal. 5:22-23 “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” (emphasis added). Just like the growing fruit on a natural tree is visible to everyone, when the fruit of the Spirit is growing in us, it is also visible to everyone. Read the rest of this entry

Let go & Let GOD

Isa. 43:18-19 (NIV & Voice) “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. Watch closely: I am preparing something new; it’s happening now, even as I speak, and you’re about to see it. I am preparing a way through the desert; Waters will flow where there had been none.”

We are grateful to God for the New-Streams that are bursting forth. Paul said to the Galatian Church in Gal.5:7 You were running the race so well. Who has held you back…?”. By God’s grace, we are determined that nothing will hold us back in Jesus Name. However, now that God has helped us identify the things that are capable of blocking the flow of our streams, we must be deliberate about taking them out. The beauty about our God, is that He did not only help us identify the problem, He also gave us the solution so that nothing blocks the flow of our New-Streams. Nothing will hold us back; we will continue to flow well in Jesus Name. Read the rest of this entry

The Focus

Ex.33:19 “The Lord replied, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you. For I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.” [with emphasis]

What you do tells a story of what you actually believe. A man told his pastor that heaven and hell cannot really exist. “Why do you say that?”, his pastor asked. Read the rest of this entry

On Display

Ps.31:19 “How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.” [with emphasis]

God-Cover

Ps.23:6 (NKJV) “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

When you consider Psalm 23 in its entirety and verse six in particular, it seems like God is an insurance policy. It is like God telling us that we have been insured, we have a cover. Read the rest of this entry
