Bear In Mind

Psalm 84:6-7 “As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.” (NIV)

From today’s anchor scripture it is clear that we will go through valleys. There are different kinds of valleys, but these four we have highlighted in the past few days are guaranteed valleys. In the Name of Jesus, we will go from strength to strength, to strength until we show up before God in Zion. Read the rest of this entry

In His Name, V

Zech. 12:10 And I pledge that I will pour out a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy on the family of David and the citizens of Jerusalem…” (Voice)

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Grace. When the Spirit of Grace is upon you, things become effortless. I acknowledge the Spirit of Grace upon my life and I am totally grateful for it. Sometimes, when I share the amazing things that God is doing or has done in my life, people are literally in shock. Read the rest of this entry

GOD Sees, Knows & Rewards

Heb.6:10 “For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.”

People can argue forever about the theology of the catholic church. But what I choose to focus on is what there is to learn from them. If God can tell us to learn from inanimate objects, then trust me we can learn from the Read the rest of this entry

Sincerely Diligent

Heb.11:6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” [with emphasis]

God rewards those who sincerely seek Him. Our challenge is our insincerity in seeking God. It is not that we do not know that God exists or that we are not seeking. It is that we are not sincere. Read the rest of this entry

Good News!

Isa.9:6 (KJV) “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Phase IV

Ex. 20:12 (VOICE) “You are to honour your father and mother. If you do, you and your children will live long and well in the land the Eternal your God has promised to give you.” [with emphasis]

You are going to be great, far greater than your father and your father’s father, in Jesus Name [say Amen]. What that means is the level of thought that will deliver that greatness will be outside the scope of your father.

Fitting

Rom. 13:7 (NRSV) “Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honour to whom honour is due.”

Respect is impartial but honour is subjective. Respect is impartial meaning you really do not need to like a person to respect him or her. God wants us to regard our parents as weighty even though that might not be the case.

Over Turn

Eccl.10:10 “If the ax is dull, and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed but skill will bring success”

Energy even though finite is a variable. You can increase your energy level physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually by doing the right type of exercise and eating right accordingly. Time however, cannot be increased. While time is linear and cannot be concentrated, energy fluctuates and can be concentrated. And the increase in energy given in Read the rest of this entry

Appraise Yourself

Gal.6:4 (Philips) “Let everyone learn to assess properly the value of his own work.  Then he can be rightly proud when he has done something worth doing, without depending on the approval of others” [with emphasis]

Col.3:24 (GN)“… Remember that the Lord will reward you… For Christ is the real Master you serve” [with emphasis]. The only person that needs to appreciate your work is God. And He will appreciate it if it is worthy of appreciation. Read the rest of this entry

From Above

Col.3:24 (GN)”… Remember that the Lord will reward you… For Christ is the real Master you serve.” [with emphasis]

When we work for the Lord and work like the Lord then we should expect our reward from the Lord. This is the third step to having a proper perspective. Read the rest of this entry
