Save. Invest. Repay.

Proverbs 13:11 “Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.”

If I want to experience financial metamorphosis, I Must Trust God As My Source And Supplier, I Must Keep Good Records, I Must Give The First 10% Back To God, and I Must Save And Invest For The Future. The truth is, “If you cannot save money, Read the rest of this entry

Faith & Wisdom

Prov.21:31 “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord. (ESV, emphasis added)

There is nothing wrong with planning, with systems, with faith, and with prayer. Anyone who says you have prayed enough does not understand prayer. Anyone that says you have worked enough, does not understand the nature of work. Read the rest of this entry

Check Up

Philip.4:6 “Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come.” (Voice)

As with many things in life, when we get the fundamentals right, complex things become effortless. Take spiritual growth, for instance, some people think that spiritual growth is a complex issue, but it really is not, when you focus on the fundamentals. Read the rest of this entry

In Life

Psalm 107:2 “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy” (KJV, emphasis added)

A believer’s attitude must flow from who he or she is in God. Who are you in God? The phrase ‘say so’ highlighted in today’s anchor scripture means to verbally declare. In other words, you are the redeemed of the Lord, show it! You are a child of the Most High God, show it Read the rest of this entry

Come Boldly

Isa.1:18 “Come on now, let’s walk and talk; let’s work this out…” (Voice, emphasis added)

The Book of Psalms is filled with David confronting God. David would go to God and say, ‘God, we need to talk’. When you confront God, your destiny changes. And like we see in today’s anchor scripture, God actually invites us to come and confront Him, to come and work things out. Read the rest of this entry

Walk & Talk

Genesis 5:24 “but Enoch had such a close and intimate relationship with God that one day he just vanished—God took him.” (Voice)

We are still on our bold steps journey and for the next few days, our focus is on bold steps in relationships. Isa.1:18 Come on now, let’s walk and talk; let’s work this out. Your wrongdoings are bloodred, But they can turn as white as snow. Your sins are red like crimson, But they can be made clean again like new wool.” (Voice, emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry

Misconceptions

Acts 1:6-7 “So when the apostles were with Jesus, they kept asking him, “Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?” He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know.”

Over the next few days, we will be looking at Time. The concept of time is something that we wrestle [struggle] with as human beings because of how we are wired. When something takes time, we do not like it. Read the rest of this entry

The Nine, I

Luke 17:17-18 “Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” (emphasis added)

The question is where are the nine? Jesus was surprised that only one came back. And reading it almost will break your heart that people will be so ungrateful to God. Where are the nine? If Jesus is looking for something and you are His boy, you have to help Him find it. Read the rest of this entry

Giving Thanks

Psalm 50:23 “But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

Luke 17:11-19As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance, crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.” (emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry
