Keys to Please I
But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out] Heb.11:6 [AMP]
Without faith and your heart, you cannot please God. You need to constantly hear God to know how to go about pleasing Him at every stage of your walk with God. The Word is one sure way to hear God constantly. I encourage you to surround yourself with audio messages and take it a step further with an audio version of the Bible. Faith comes by consistently hearing the Word of God. The Word of God is very powerful but it is useless to you without knowledge of it. ‘It shall be well with you’; this is God’s Word for you. Hearing it constantly builds your understanding and your conviction. Your heart is the second key to pleasing God. Our walk with God is a heart walk. The difference between Saul and David was the heart. Two Christians ask God for the same thing at the same time. God responds and gives to one but not the other. If you dig deep into the reason, most likely it is the heart, the heart is wrong. James 4:3 [NLT] ‘And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure’. Your heart must be right. You are asking God for a breakthrough so that you can show off in church, or to buy a certain bag – wrong heart. While men may look on the outward appearance, God looks at the heart. Men can pronounce you guilty, while God calls you innocent. Guess what, its only God’s verdict that will stand. God taught Samuel this wonderful lesson in the house of Jesse, everyone he picked as the likely options for king were nothing compared to God’s choice. He was looking on the outside but God looks at the heart – the heart has to be right. ‘Create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit within me’; ‘A broken and a contrite heart, God will not despise’. The heart has to be right because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Prayer: Jesus, please help me place a guard over my heart, to protect the place of Your Word in my heart so that I am constantly renewed from the inside out, in Jesus Name.

Its all still in the Word. the Word informs the faith and the Word transforms the Heart. Lord, Protect the place of your Word in my life.
I totally agree: it’s all tied to the word.
1)Faith comes by hearing and hearing of the word (written and spoken)of God.
2)Heart-the word sets the standard, it’s the mirror in which we look in and see ourselves as we ought to be. It clearly sets us right even in instances where we might have been sincerely wrong.
