And God Said: Caution

And God said to Balaam, You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed. Num.22:12

And God said and He is still saying caution to those who war against you and God’s purposes for you. While God is speaking to you about your destiny in Christ, He is also warning the enemies of your destiny because no one can curse who God has blessed. God acknowledges that favour attracts envy and attacks so He is cautioning everyone who has chosen to attack you. Be alert, because there are certain things that God will begin and is doing in your life that will provoke people to want to curse you. God will say to them, you will waste your time because he/she is blessed of the Lord. ‘But God came to Laban the Syrian [Aramean] in a dream by night and said to him, Be careful that you do not speak from good to bad to Jacob [peaceably, then violently]’ [Gen 31:24]. Laban had overtaken Jacob and would have overpowered him but God showed up and cautioned Laban even without Jacob’s knowledge. God will caution everyone who has cheated you out of your wages and falsely accused you today. God said to Laban be careful, do not say good or bad. ‘But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said, Behold, you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken [as your own], for she is a man’s wife’ [Gen.20:3]. God is speaking caution to those who have taken of that which rightfully belongs to you – caution! And like Abimelech, they will return all that is yours with ample compensation and stay cautioned [Gen.26.11]. God’s caution is a loaded warning because it is a two edged sword. It also means that if they insist on cursing or attacking you, God Himself will fight your battle. God said and is still saying, ‘I will bless them that bless you and I will curse them that curse you’. Be careful also about which of God’s children you have been unrest. God is saying Caution!

Prayer: Father, thank You for being my Advocate. Thank You for slaying great kings and nations because of me and making Your Righteous Right Hand my defense, in Jesus Name.
