Direction
‘I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race… It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time’ Ecc.9:11
‘…being in the right place at the right time’. The Way is the most crucial part of acceleration. It would be futile to pride yourself as the fastest runner whereas in every race, you accelerate in the opposite direction, away from the finish line. What is the point of accelerating when you are heading in the wrong direction? ‘You may think you are on the right road and still end up dead’ Prov.14:12 [CEV]. Increased speed in the wrong direction is just as good as not accelerating at all. The right Way can only be accessed by being in the presence of the One who has charted your course even before you were conceived. Acceleration means different things to different people and at different seasons of their life. Timing is also very critical when it comes to accelerating. Yet timing cannot be obtained except in God’s presence. The kind of acceleration God is proposing is of rapid progress in the right direction and at the right time. His time and according to His purpose. ‘Jesus says, I AM The Way, I Am the truth and I am the life. No one comes to the Father except by me’ John 14:6. This is not a statement of pride by Jesus. It is a statement of love. Jesus is saying do not invest your time with any other thing because it will just be a waste of time. Jesus is the Way; the Way to the Father and the Way to acceleration. Being in Christ is guaranteed acceleration in the right Way plus being in the right place at the right time. The right time for being in the Way is now. ‘But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His Kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides’ Matt.6:33 [AMP]. In acceleration, the Way makes all the difference.
Prayer: Father, I ask that You lay Your mighty hand on me and cause me to out run every chariot that has gone ahead of me, in Jesus Name.
