Debunking Lies III
‘It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God’ 2 Cor.3:5
The enemy will try to put things in our way to convince us that we are insignificant and unimportant. Another lie the enemy says is that you are not good enough. He says things like, you are not so bad but you are not good enough. You need to become better to matter. The truth is that you and I can never be good enough in your own strength [Isa.64:6]. Yet in Christ Jesus, you are good enough for God. In your own strength you cannot be good enough. No matter how hard you try. It is impossible. Yet when you come under the atoning sacrifice of Jesus and you show up before the throne of the Father, God sees you as totally pure and without defilement. God sees you as good enough. Just as He sees Jesus, He sees you and I. So do not buy the lie that you will never be good enough. Say to the devil, the devil is a lair. And confess out loud – I, in Christ Jesus, am good enough for God. Our sufficiency is not ourselves; rather our sufficiency is in Christ Jesus [2Cor3:5]. Another of such lies the enemy brings your way is that even if you try, you cannot make a difference. You see from yesterday’s statistics that you can make a difference. The beauty about the Church is that God has designed it in such a way that our impact is better when we work as a body. No matter how rich you are, another person’s little contribution will boost the impact. Your contribution matters to God. You matter. One of the sweetest things you can hear God say to you is that there is no one like you. The truth is that there is no one like you. Not even identical twins have the same finger print, iris or heartbeat. Isn’t God just Awesome? God can be telling you something and you do not receive it. When you don’t receive it, you do not enjoy the fullness of it. When you receive it, it unleashes the unexplainable on your inside. I believe God is saying to you today that there is no one like you. You matter. You are relevant to God. You are a part of God’s big picture. An invaluable piece of the puzzle.
Prayer: Father, indeed Your Word is life. It is truly life changing to know that I matter in Your big picture and I am important to You. Thank You for ridding my mind of satan’s lies, in Jesus Name.
