Joy Of Purchase
‘And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And having called them, He gave them right standing with Himself. And having given them right standing, He gave them His glory’ Rom.8:30
For every Christian the joy of being purchased is that you have been given the identity of God. Just as the clay takes on the signature of the potter, we have been given the glory of God. Even before we were born, God had already called us as His own. The joy of being purchased is that you are a debtor to no one. Every price that needs to be paid for your life was paid with the highest price ever. The God of the Heavens gave up His only Son as a ransom for us. Nothing can contend or compete with that. The Blood of the Lamb is the symbol of a price that has been paid in full for your life. The joy of the purchased is that we have been made whole by the Creator Himself [Isa.53:5]. The joy of being purchased is that you have already been provided for. All that you need now and all that you will ever need, God has already provided for [Phil.4:19]. The joy of being purchased is that we live our lives to serve the Master, not in an attempt to repay Him because we can’t. But in adoration and appreciation for all that He has given up for our sakes. The joy of the purchased is that we have access to the Master and a lifelong invitation to dine with the King of kings. The joy of being purchased is that we have boundless joy by the Spirit. ‘From now on, don’t let anyone trouble me with these things. For I bear on my body the scars that show I belong to Jesus.’Gal.6:17. The joy of the purchased is that we bear the Name of the Master and carry His mark. The joy of the purchased is that you fight from victory; the battle has already been won. ‘I am the LORD, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?’ Jer.32:27. The joy of being purchased is that we have a guarantee of the impossible made possible. We have the supernatural at work in our favour. God has a stake in everything that happens to us. The joy of being the purchased of the Lord is that we have a hope and a future. The joy of being purchased is that we have an inheritance and a place prepared for us in His rest. We have been called joint heirs to the Throne.
Thought: The joy of being purchased is that you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Prayer [song]: ‘We are heirs of the Father. We are joint heirs with the Son. We are children of the Kingdom. We are family, we are one’, in Jesus Name.
