Transition II
‘A right time for birth and another for death, A right time to plant and another to reap’ Ecc.3:2 [MSG]
Effective transition leads to growth. When we transition, we are growing, maturing, learning, improving, and acquiring knowledge and skills. We are victorious and can become experts in that sector or in that relationship. But when people do not transition properly, they are filled with misery. People who want the past in a new dispensation tend never to be satisfied, they are always looking for something but it is as though that thing continues to elude them. That is because they are not growing, they have become victims of the poor choices and decisions they are making due to lack of understanding and transitioning properly. Transition determines your success or your lack of success. If you transition properly, you are successful because you grow, mature, learn and develop. If you do not transition properly in any area of life, you tend to get frustrated. If a person that is married decides to continue living as a single person, the other partner will be frustrated. A person who got married and knows how to be one with his or her partner in Christ. Knows how to honour his wife and the wife knows how to submit to her husband find that marriage is blissful, marriage is good. A man who has his wife at home but still chooses to hang out with the boys daily has failed to transition and it will lead to a lot of problems. That will not be our portion in Jesus Name. The children of Israel cried to God for mercy, prayed and fasted and God raised and sent a deliverer to them in Egypt. God delivered them with mighty signs and wonders. They left Egypt blessed and with God’s favour. Yet only two of them entered into the Promised Land because the rest did not transition [1 Cor.10:1-10]. There was a change from slavery to deliverance, but they did not transition into the promised land. You have to make sure you are transitioning well, making constant movement, passing through to your promised land.
Prayer: Father, I ask for the grace to let go of the past that You have delivered me from and transition into the new phase that You have brought me into, in Jesus Name.
