He Is The Alpha and Omega
‘I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One’ Rev.1:8.
The fact that God is saying that He is going to do a new thing means you have not seen anything yet. The ability to see what God is doing is not reserved only for pastors, ministers, or anointed men of God. ‘In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike’ Joel 2:29. You may be down but God is saying it is not over for you yet so do not be afraid. The three main things that cause us to fear are Protection, People, and Provision.
The first thing that scares us is Protection: But God says ‘Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty’. There is nothing like abiding in God. When you abide in God, the enemy cannot reach you or do anything to you. Arrows that have been released must land somewhere. And every arrow released against you and your destiny will go back to the bosom of the sender in the Name of Jesus. Abide, don’t be a visitor in the secret place of the Most High.
The second thing that makes us afraid is People. The Word of the Lord says ‘I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me. I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side’ Ps.3:5-6.
The third thing that makes us afraid is Provision. ‘And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are’ Matt 6:28-29.
The Alpha and Omega is saying to you that the end of a thing is better than the beginning there of. There are a few hours left in this year. These last hours, God will bless you much more than He has blessed you this far in Jesus Name. He is able to go into your future and remove the weeds, He is able to go into your past and break the curses that have been placed. He is the Alpha and Omega.
Prayer: But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; You are my glory, the One who holds my head high. I rest in You Lord for the remaining hours of this year and the rest of my life, in Jesus Name
