Not Subject But Superior

‘Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land’ Ex.14:21

The supernatural is not subject to natural laws. ‘About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water’ Mat.14:25. Jesus sent His disciples away and went to pray. By the time he got to the shore all the boats had gone. What Jesus simply did was to walk on water. Imagine going to the airport, you have missed your flight, and all the planes on ground are gone what you simply do is ask for your bags and glide on air. Philip was transposed from Israel to Ethiopia, then back to Israel – supernaturally. And this happened in the New Testament. If you can believe it, you can operate in it. God is the supernatural and He has given you His Spirit. The point is this; the supernatural is not subject to natural laws. What Jesus did was to suspend the law of surface tension. The surface area of water can sustain a mosquito. But for it to sustain a human being, your feet must be at least a kilometer long so that your weight is evenly distributed over that area then you can walk on water. Jesus did not start searching for how to make His situation suit the natural law; He simply reversed the natural law to suit Him. When you walk in the supernatural, you will also experience God suspending natural laws in your favour. The resurrection is another example of Jesus reversing natural laws. Rapture will again suspend the law of gravity for a few people. I know some people do not believe in rapture. Guess what every Word of God is true and the rapture is not left out. Rapture is going to happen so be prepared.

The supernatural is superior to natural laws. The word supernatural is from two Latin words supra, which means above positionaly, that is, superior position; and naturalis, which means nature. The supernatural therefore means something that is superior to nature. The dictionary puts it this way ‘attributed to powers that violate and go beyond natural forces’. And you will deploy that superior power in Jesus Name.

Prayer: Father, teach me by Your Spirit how to see beyond the physical. I ask that You suspend natural laws to favour me, in Jesus Name.
