Spiritual Principles III

‘…as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you’ Num.14:28 [KJV].

The fourth spiritual principle that we must know in order to successfully operate in the supernatural is the trigger principle. It simply states that words are triggers in the supernatural. If you are an anointed child of God filled with the Holy Ghost yet you don’t speak then nothing happens. It is like having a loaded gun and not pulling the trigger so nothing happens. Your tongue and the words that you speak are the triggers. ‘By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen’ Heb.11:3. ‘And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep… And God said, Let there be light…’ Gen.1:2-3 [KJV]. God had to speak so why won’t you? God had to speak for things to happen. Jesus said that if you would say to this mountain be removed and cast into the sea, it will be removed if you believe [Matt.21:21]. You are ensnared by the words of your mouth. It is the word that you speak that determines your destiny. You need to understand that. ‘And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak’ Matt.12:36. Words have the power to kill and make alive. Every parent must teach their children about the power of words because schooling these days is warfare. When I was much younger, certain events occurred that caused my mother to teach us about the effect of words and how to counter it. We countered every careless word dropped as a result of that event and we saw the effect. Teach your children how to use words, so that if someone calls them failures they can counter it by saying that they will succeed. Children are wiser than you think they are. Yet with children, you also have to teach them well so that they do not turn it around or abuse it. ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God’ John 1:1. Begin your day by speaking the Word. God has given us power to call things that do not exist as though they exist. Then watch the Word trigger things in your favour.

Prayer: Father, in the Name of Jesus, I speak success into my day. I speak increase into my finances. I speak abundance into my home and covering over my family.
