One Response

‘I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together’ Ps.34:1-3 [KJV]

I say to people, you don’t know why I love Jesus the way I love Jesus. You don’t know what He delivered me from. If you knew, you would join me and praise God. There is truly only one response when you are about to go through the night. You know that blessed are they that mourn for they will be comforted. You know that even though you are about to go through the night, the day is coming. Maybe they have told you to resign your job or you have lost a business. You know you are about to go though this night but guess what, your day is going to break. And there is only one response and that response is thanksgiving and gratitude to God. So you begin to understand David when he says, ‘ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me. Your rod and your staff they comfort me’. I know I am coming out and ‘you will prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, you will anoint my head with oil and my cup will run over’. So, if you are about to go through a night season, there is only one response and that response is thanksgiving. If you are going through a night or grieving, there is only one response and that is thanksgiving. In ALL things give thanks because this is the will of God for all of us. Why would you give thanks, because ‘the dawning of a new day, the dawning of a new day, he has brought the dawning of a new day’ [song]. If you are not about to go through, or you are not currently going through, or you probably have just gone through the night , there is still only one response and that is thanksgiving. I encourage you to really thank God because this too shall pass.  And for some of us it is not just enough to know a God that shows us mercy. You have to know the God that doesn’t only show you mercy but came and felt what you are feeling and died for you. He is announcing to you today that your day is about to break. You will check yourself in a few days, weeks, or months and you will doubtlessly testify. So write today’s date down.

Prayer [song]: When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all He has done for me, my very soul shall shout hallelujah! Praise God for saving me.
