A New Dawn!
‘The people will no longer quote this proverb: the parents have eaten sour grapes, but their children’s mouths pucker at the taste. All people will die for their own sins – those who eat the sour grapes will be the ones whose mouths will pucker’ Jer. 31:29 -30.
There are people who are stuck in yesterday but by no fault of theirs. It is because they are victims of an ancestral cycle, a cycle that just keeps going round in their family. Today that cycle will be broken in your life in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Believe me! Stop trying to ration it out because of the number of deliverances you have gone for. Don’t be like that man by the pool. Just believe that the cycle has been broken in your own case in the Mighty Name of Jesus. ‘The people will no longer quote this proverb: the parents have eaten sour grapes, but their children’s mouths pucker at the taste. All people will die for their own sins – those who eat the sour grapes will be the ones whose mouths will pucker’ Jer. 31:29-30. Let this be your prophetic stand and your fresh start. The man at the pool was telling Jesus that there is a cycle but he keeps missing his turn. Some spiritual people have called it the ‘near success’ syndrome. You get so close to getting married then something happens. You get so close to having your own child then something happens. Listen, the cycle has been totally broken in the Name of Jesus. You have a fresh start!
The second thing that we must know is that when day breaks, it simply means that light has come. And when light comes, darkness fades away. The difference between day and night is simply light. Many times what gives us confidence when we go to sleep, is we know that the day will break. So why now, when you are going through this dark period – this storm in your life, are you so afraid? Don’t you know that the night will pass and that day will come? Don’t you know that ‘weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning?’ And because the day has broken then joy is here. Day breaks when light breaks through darkness. Any darkness present in your life up until today, the light of God is breaking through it now in the Name of Jesus. ‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, ‘Let there be light’, and there was light’ Gen. 1:1-3. Darkness cannot resist the Word [light] of God. Start rejoicing because God has called light forth in your life and it has displaced the darkness completely.
Prayer: In the Name of Jesus, I speak to every dark situation in my life, hear the Word of the Lord – let there be light! And so shall it be, in Jesus Name.
