At Dawn!

‘And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes Lord, so that he may see”. Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariot of fire all around Elisha’. 2 Kings 6:16 [NIV]

You need to know that when the morning comes and it is time for action, heaven knows it is time for action. But guess what the enemy also knows that it is time for action [2kings 6:15-18]. It was dawn for Elisha and his servant but when his servant went out he saw that enemy chariots had surrounded them. And he ran to his master and said ‘alas what shall we do, we are surrounded master?’ And Elisha got up and smiled and said to him ‘don’t be afraid’. You need to say these words out loud to yourself when it feels like even at dawn you are surrounded by enemy chariots. And Elisha said to the Lord ‘Lord please open the eyes of this young man’. And for that young man you can say he had another new day experience even within the new day. For some of us this is how it is going to be. At dawn, you will enter into another new day within your new day. So I am praying that God will open your eyes and you will recognize the backing of heaven. And the Bible says that the young man saw that round about them and round about the enemy, there were chariots and horses of fire from heaven. The enemy thinks he has you surrounded, like Elisha, smile because you know that he too is surrounded. So, as you step out into this new day and you meet the opposition of the enemy, don’t be afraid. There are more that are with you than those against you. Make God your focus. As the daybreaks and you begin to knock on the doors, know that the enemy will rage at you. But don’t allow doubt creep into your heart about the prophetic word because it is a new dawn. And God’s Word will not return to Him void. Rather say to yourself ‘greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world’. If the people around you are getting scared then say to them, ‘there are more with us than there are against us’. The man by the pool said ‘an angel comes to stir the waters’. If I were Jesus, I probably would call for fifty angels just to show him that the Captain of the hosts of heaven, the Commander in chief of the armies of Israel was standing right there before him. But Jesus did not do that. Instead, He asked him a question. Pay attention, the armies of the host of heaven and the Commander of the host of Israel is standing right here before you.

Prayer: Father, I press into my new dawn, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
