Visible Faith

‘Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man. “My child, your sins are forgiven”’ Mark 2:5

In Mark 2:1-12, there were four men who had a friend that was paralyzed and they came to Jesus but Jesus’ house was full. There was no room to walk into Jesus’ house. They could have said ‘perhaps it is not yet God’s time for God to heal our friend. We will wait for when Jesus is doing another healing service and come early so that we can be on the front row’. They did not do that. Instead, as the door was not accessible to them, they decided to break the roof just to gain access. So they tore Jesus’ roof open and they lowered their friend. Jesus did not get angry or ask them to repair the roof. The Bible says Jesus saw their faith! Faith is visible. Jesus saw their faith! If there is one person I love passionately, it is Jesus. He always baffles me. When everyone is preaching standing up, Jesus preaches sitting down. When everybody is taking a boat, Jesus is walking on water. Isn’t He amazing? And I saw, looking at the life of Jesus, that everyone that came to Jesus for healing, He healed. Jesus never said ‘O Jairus, it is not yet time to heal your daughter’. Jesus never said the time is not right. I do not understand why people that really believe God do not get healed. Don’t get me wrong, there are still some things that when we get to heaven God will tell us. But let us hold firmly to the one He has revealed in the Bible. There is no time Jesus said the time is not yet come. Even a woman that did not ask His permission said ‘if only I can touch the herm of his garment I will be made whole’. And when she touched it, she was made whole. I am here to announce to you today that heaven has not postponed your healing. Heaven has not postponed the delivery of that answer. Jesus will always say ‘only if you can believe’. All things are possible to them that believe. Jesus never said all things are possible if it is time. Jesus always says according to your faith, be it unto you. So I say to you today, get oil and anoint yourself even as your faith goes ahead of you and watch as Jesus turns things around in your favour.  Even in intercession, you must first believe that He is and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Even Mary believed, though He said it was not yet time.

Prayer [song]: ‘God is able to do just what He said He would do. He’s going to fulfill every promise to you. Don’t give up on God, cause He won’t give up on you. He’s able’
