Individual Gifting

‘Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it’ Prov.22:6 [AMP].

I am praying that God will bless you tremendously in the Mighty Name of Jesus. I have learnt that money is controlled by two sets of people. The people that bring value to people and the people that steal from people. If you are born again, you do not belong to the second category. Money starts from value. There are so many things that are of value that you can do but you cannot do everything that is of value. You have to do something that is valuable that you are good at. Beyond that, you need to get something that is valuable that you are good at and that you enjoy. And beyond that, it has to be something that is valuable and that you are good at, you enjoy doing, and you will get paid for. That right there is your oil. If you have something that you are good at and you enjoy and nobody is willing to pay you for it then you have a hobby. You cannot build on a hobby. If you have something that you are good at and you are getting paid for and you don’t enjoy all you have is a job. If you have something that you enjoy, you get paid for but you are not good at then you are about to be fired. That is incompetence on display. But you have something you are good at, you enjoy, and you get paid for, you have your oil.

From childhood everybody has his or her oil. What they are good at, what they enjoy doing, and what they get paid for doing. ‘Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it’ Prov.22:6 [AMP]. Every child has a bent. Nobody is born empty. Every child has their individual gifting. For those who are parents and are saved, you are at an advantage because you can help your children. If nobody helped you, at least you can help your children. There are a lot of people that the educational system labeled dumb and they have ended up changing the world with inventions. So what does that tell us? There was something that child was carrying that the school system could not unlock. There are some of us that have certain bent that only us can deliver.

Prayer: Father, help me nurture my children’s individual gifting, in Jesus Name.
