All Things Beautiful
‘Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end’ Ecc.3:11
Only the Potter can see what He is working out in you from beginning to end. Can the potter make a piece of pottery without the wheel? Not at all. Even if the wheel just seems to be going in cycles, the Potter needs it to make the beautiful you that He has conceived in His mind. Again I urge you to stay on the Potter’s wheel. When the challenges of life come, stay in the Maker’s hands because He is crafting something beautiful with your life. It is not about the comfort of life; it is not about the convenience of what you want, but it is about who you are becoming in the hands of God. Some of us really need to let go of certain things so God can move us forward. Let go of the ‘why’ it happened to you, ‘why’ you lost the job, ‘why’ that loved one died, ‘why’ this and ‘why’ that happened. Stop asking questions on this side of life that only heaven can answer. Sometimes we want to pick up an attitude and in some cases we want to pick a fight with the One who is molding us. It does not make sense. Trust God; trust that that He who can make something beautiful out of worthless dust is making a masterpiece out of you. ‘But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over’ Jer.18:4. It states here that the vessel that the potter was making was marred. It was spoilt in the hands of the potter. The untrained eye cannot spot impurities the way the eyes of the potter can. So when the potter destroys the work we think is finished, the question on our minds is ‘what are you doing? You have just created something amazing, so why are you destroying it?’ And that is because God loves us too much not to perfect all that concerns us. You think He has finished with you, you think you have arrived? But He is saying, ‘No, I am perfecting all that concerns you. I am creating something amazing that the world would stand in awe of’. People around may be like- what is happening in this person’s life? He/she seems to be on the rise and fall almost all the time. Yet remember the Bible says, ‘better is the end of a thing than the beginning’. Stay on the wheel so that your end will be glorious.
Prayer: Father, I declare that in all that concerns me, my latter will be greater, in Jesus Name.
