God Wants You!

‘And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?’ Matt.16:26.

You are going to be wealthy in Jesus Name. I am saying this to you authoritatively by the grace of God. Everyone in God’s Favourite House will prosper, it will be impossible for you to remain in God’s Favourite House and be impoverished. But if you insist otherwise, we will kick you out. Money is not the problem. God is more concerned about getting money through you than getting money to you. God is more concerned about the victories He attains in you than the victories He attains for you. In the ranking of things that are important to God about your life, money is the least. If you make God the main thing, money will pursue you and overtake you.

Some time ago there was a man in church, who had a friend that was his partner in chasing money. They did all sorts of horrible things in chasing money. When he got saved, he had a burden for his friend. And we’d pray together for his friend even though I had never met him before. One thing about people that really get saved is that they have this insatiable appetite to bring other people to Christ. This is because found people find people. While I was praying for service one day, a desire for the man to bring his friend to church was impressed upon my heart by the Holy Spirit. I decided to send him a text message so that he’d bring his friend to church because I didn’t know what God wanted to do. In the morning I forgot totally and as I was preaching it was as if the Holy Spirit pointed out the friend to me. So I began to preach even harder. At some point he got a call, answered his phone in church, then he walked out. And my heart skipped, I was worried that I had missed a God sent opportunity or let God down. But God said, ‘no, just continue doing what you are doing’. When he came back, I did not wait to finish my sermon, I rounded up and proposed to pray. But just then he got up to answer another call and he didn’t come back. He died that week. He may have met God, I don’t know, because God really wanted to reach him. He was chasing money. Don’t chase money at the expense of your soul. If you have been chasing money at the expense of your soul, it is time to come back to God and make Him priority today.

Prayer: Father, may my life always be accessible to You. Help me keep my affection set on You alone, in Jesus Name.
