Trustworthy Father
‘But even after all he did, you refused to trust the Lord your God, who goes before you looking for the best places to camp, guiding you with a pillar of fire by night and a pillar of cloud by day’ Deut.1:32-33.
Does God say no to some of the life defining questions we ask? Yes! However you must make it a habit to ask the Father because He alone knows the end from the beginning. On the subject of marriage, ninety nine percent of the time you should get married. It is only like one percent of the time that God will say no. And for that one percent, marriage is not in God’s plan for their life. So for every one trusting God for a life partner, the fruit of the womb, or for financial breakthrough, every goliath that is standing between you and that promise will fall. I needed to go through that route because we need to come to the basics of trusting God. I remember the day I asked God if I should get married or not very clearly, and God said to me, “You can’t handle it, better go and marry”. Trust God! God is saying I am able to give you good gifts. If you ask Me for a husband, I am able to give you a good one. I still have good men. Some people say that all the good men are gone. It is because you are looking in the wrong place. They are not; they are in God’s hands and if you ask Him, He will release them to you. The men are asking what happened to all those good beautiful women? If you find a good one she is not beautiful and if you find a beautiful one she is not good. All the good and beautiful women in church are all married. Again it is because you are looking in the wrong direction. God still has some very fascinating daughters that are good and beautiful. He is God, the source of life!
While ministering the baptism of the Holy Spirit to a group of people, there was one particular man who just was not receiving it. And Luke 11:13 came to my mind so I asked him if he believed that God would give him the genuine Holy Ghost. And he said he feared that a strange spirit would enter him. I said to him, “this is the problem and the reason why you have not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Who did you ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit?” And he said “God”. You asked God and you think He is going to give you a fake spirit? God is saying to you and I today, “Give Me some credit”. If your children ask you for bread will you give them stones? Give God some credit. God is a good God and His goodness does not expire.
Prayer: Father, I put my hands in Your hands, let my life fulfill Your plans and purpose, in Jesus Name.
