God’s Masterpiece

‘For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago’ Eph.2:10.

Finally don’t ever forget that God is making a masterpiece out of your life. The clay derives its value from the creativity of the Potter. Your value is not based on how good looking you are, or how wealthy you are, or how ugly you are. Your value is based on how creative and awesome your God is. Feeling that you are not valuable is casting aspersions at your creator. If you define yourself by what has happened to you then you are casting aspersions at who made you. You are not what you did. You are not what happened to you. You are who God says you are. You may have stolen before but you are not a thief. The fact that you have stolen before does not make you a thief. The fact that you have committed adultery before does not make you an adulterer. You are not what happened to you. The fact that you have been molested or raped does not make you a victim. You are who God says you are. Created in the image of the Living God. You are blessed and highly favoured. You are the desire of all nations through Christ that lives in you. God is making a masterpiece out of your life. He is not done yet but He is able to do all that He says He will do. God is not finished yet. He is working something out and that thing is beautiful.

Our walk with God is a walk of faith and trust. It is not a walk of understanding. You are to trust God as you walk with Him. You may not fully understand the route He is taking you through but trust the person that is taking you through it. The Christian walk is not a walk of understanding; it is a walk of trust. God takes us through different seasons. And at certain seasons we are not as desirable to people as we used to be. When that happens, people will try to get rid of you. “Men will try to replace you but God is seeking to remake you” – Damilola Monehin. When you don’t meet men’s expectations as far as they can see, all their plotting is how to replace you. But God does not give up on you because all He is plotting is how to remake you. Understand that God is still on your case and He has not given up yet.

Prayer: Father, thank You for not giving me up to the devices and imaginations of men. Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex, in Jesus Name.
