Expect Settlement

‘He drove out the nations before them; he gave them their inheritance by lot. He settled the tribes of Israel into their homes’ Ps.78:55.

God’s Word about establishment is true today as it was in time past. A lot of times when we receive a new Word, we forget about the promises before it. It is important to remember that as long as you hold on to a promise, God will bring it to pass. So if you are still looking to God for establishment in certain areas then be most assured that He will establish you. As 2014 expires, remember His promises in time past and be expectant for what God is set to do. Meaning, we will continue to grow roots downwards and bear fruit upwards. Marriages that have been wobbling will take root. Finances that have been haphazard will take root. Some people’s walk with God is up today and down tomorrow, like a yoyo. Your spiritual life will take root.

Over the next few days we will be sharing five things that we have to remember, reinforce, and learn even as 2014 expires and 2015 approaches. Five things that will carry you through the remaining days of this year and will help you take on everyday of the New Year with the confidence required. Reinforce these five things in your heart and in your spirit man.

The first thing that we must know and reinforce in our spirit man is that God is in control. Inspite of the turbulence that will hit, in spite of the roller coaster and all the challenges, you will hear wars, and you will hear rumors of wars. Perhaps plagues and pestilences but one thing that you must know is that God is in control. The One that holds the whole world in His palms will take care of you. The shoulder that carries the whole world will carry you. Know regardless of what is going on that God is in control. ‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof’ Ps.46:1-3 [KJV]. We have to keep reminding our hearts that God is in control because we are human, our hearts can tremble and want to fail us. We have to keep reminding ourselves that God is in control. I don’t know what your finances, marriage, or business looks like but I am here to tell you as a messenger of the Most High that God is in control.

Prayer [song]: When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all He has done for me, my very soul shall shout: Hallelujah! Praise God for saving me.
