Under New Management

‘For Scriptures say, “As surely as I live’, says the Lord, ‘every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess and give praise to God. Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God’ Rom.14:11-12

Accept that Jesus is God. Believe that Jesus is able to make you all that God has called you to be. Believe that He is able to break every bad thing in your life. Believe that He loves you and that He is in control of your life. Believe totally that He is in control. If a bird in the air cannot fall to the ground without my Father’s permission, my life is not by chance [Luke 12:6-7]. Commit to following Him. Commit to obeying the words from His mouth. Commit to living according to His will and purpose for you. You must commit the rest of your life to following His plan for your life. If you have a problem with either ‘A’, ‘B’, or ‘C’ then you will have a problem in your relationship with God. Some people do ‘A’, they accept Jesus is God, and stop there. They don’t really believe that God loves them passionately and that He is able to deliver them from the shackles of sin. Or they do ‘B’ and refuse to do ‘C’. They do not commit to following Jesus and His plans, so they struggle. When you pass by structures that have been bought over they usually carry a sign “under new management”. When you submit to the Lordship of Jesus, you have that same sign on you – ‘under new management’. It means that you’re no longer in control, you have ceded the control to Jesus. The relevance of Christmas is that God came as a man. The reason is that He came for you. And the result is you can call Him your friend.

It is clear in Scriptures that one day every knee will bow to Jesus – every politician, businessman, homemaker, every nation, every tribe, and every tongue. Everyone is going to bow to Jesus and all the denial and arrogance will be over. Adolf Hitler, Justin Bieber, Gen. Sanni Abacha, Lady Gaga, and others will be there on their knees saying Jesus is Lord. The question is not if you would worship Jesus, the question is when you would worship Jesus. For some people it will be too late if you do not accept Him today. God has made you see this for a reason. God has made you read this just to show you the big deal about Christmas. God has arranged this moment so if there is a crack in your relationship with the Maker of the heavens and the earth, or if you have an issue with the Lordship of Jesus,. God wants to straighten you out today so that your relationship can be realigned.

Prayer: Father, as I commit to You today, establish Your relationship with me. I pray that I will be on Your right side saying Jesus is Lord and not on the left side, In Jesus Name.
