Prayerful Beginnings I

In the beginning…  the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.Gen.1:1-3 [KJV].

Transition from one year is a very delicate time spiritually. Therefore, even amidst celebrations for all that God has done and is doing for us, because this is also a season for thanksgiving, It is important that we engage prayerfully. Spend the last few hours in this year prayerfully speaking into being what you want to see in the coming year 2015. You need to realize that God can never ever fail. It is wisdom to secure victory ahead because Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.Gen.1: 3[KJV]. Start by addressing every situation in your life currently and in the coming year that represents darkness, “Hear the Word of the Lord, Let there be light” in Jesus Name. Address your finances, your job, your business, your family, your home, your children, your fruitfulness, your walk with God, your work for God.

But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted upMatt.15:13 [KJV]. There is nothing that can withstand the power of God. So you are going to speak concerning your life, your health, your marriage, and your future, command every plant that God has not planted to be rooted up in the Name of Jesus. Every plant that God has not planted in your life and in your future shall be rooted up in Jesus Name. Let every marital strife, every disease, barrenness, and every spirit of divorce and confusion be rooted up, in Jesus Name.

Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.’ Isa.60:18 [KJV]. Decree over Nigeria, even as we approach end of 2014 and crossover into 2015 that there shall be no violence in this nation, neither wasting nor destruction within our boarders, our gates call be called praise and our walls salvation, in Jesus Name.

‘Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions’ Ps.51:1[NKJV]. The truth is that unless God has mercy, you and I will not be here. So you are going to cry out to God to have mercy on you and your household as the year ends and in the new year. And so shall it be in Jesus Mighty Name.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for going ahead of me to make the crooked places straight. Thank You Father for 2014 and 2015, in Jesus Name.
