With Me And For Me

“…And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matt.28:20

What empowers you to live a life of purity is the fact that Jesus is near. Guess what, Jesus is not only near but He is watching to see what you will do. There are many things that you are struggling with today that you will receive instant deliverance from, just with the full realization of the Presence of Jesus beside you. And guess what? This deliverance will come even without saying a single prayer. The same way mountains will melt before you because of the Presence of Jesus, without you saying a single prayer. The same way doors will open by themselves and the same way purity becomes possible, just because Jesus is near.

Why is God with us? It is simple. God is with us because God is for us. “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Rom 8:31. Say aloud, ‘God is with me because God is for me’. This is something you need to say aloud to yourself daily so that it will move through your ears and be burned in your heart. Faith comes by hearing. “You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” Psalm 139:5-6. The Psalmist in Psalm 139 [I encourage you to read it] was saying there is nowhere he will go that God isn’t with him. Then he goes further and reveals to us why God is with him. He says God is with him so that God can be for him. God is with him so that God can lay His hands upon him and bless him. So no matter what you and I go through, God is with us and God is for us. If you will please declare this out aloud, ‘No matter what I go through, God is with me and God is for me. No matter what my feelings say, God is with me and God is for me. No matter what my bank accounts say, God is with me and God is for me. No matter what people say, God is with me and God is for me. No matter the opposition I face, God is with me and God is for me”. God is on your side. Jesus is near because God is on your side.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” Jer. 29:11. Some people think that the reason why God is with them is because God has a plan of disaster for them. God’s plan is to do you good and not for disaster. I’m not saying that there would be no challenges. I’m not saying that there would be no trials. Of course there will be but if you are aware of the Presence of Jesus, you will come out of that trouble knowing it cannot and will not kill you.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, I am so grateful for the gift of Your Presence. Thank You for being with me and for me no matter what, in Jesus Name.
