Trust God!
“We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose” Rom.8:28 [AMP]
Will you trust that God will show His glory even when you do not understand the suffering? Everyone can pay his or her school fees. How come you are the only one who cannot pay school fees yet? Would you trust God to show His glory or would you be overly consumed with ‘why’ you are suffering. It is up to us really but I think God wants us to trust Him. God wants us to trust Him. God wants us to trust Him with the outcome of our lives.
I do not understand every bend and every twist. Honestly, I do not! But I know that the One in charge of my life will make it work out for my good. The Bible says, all things work together for good for them that love God and are called for the purpose of His work [Rom.8:28]. This Scripture is so true. You may not understand how, but in the end, it is going to be for your good and for His glory. You need to settle that.
“As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?” “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him” John 9:1-3. This man was blind but he wasn’t deaf. So he could hear the disciples analyzing him and the possible source of ‘his problems’. How do you feel when you are going through stuff and ‘the disciples’ – the people that know God and are supposed to be following God are scrutinizing you? How do you feel? How would this man have felt? But what did he do? He kept quiet and he allowed Jesus to answer for him.
You need to keep quiet and allow Jesus to answer for you. When you are at that low point, you do not need to argue with anybody. Unfortunately, that is when a lot of us try to justify and vindicate ourselves. Learn from this man and just stay silent. Allow Jesus to answer for you because it is God’s intention to glorify Himself in our lives. It is God’s intention because miracles bring glory to our God.
Prayer [hymn]: When darkness veils His lovely face, I rest on His unchanging grace; In every high and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand. Amen
