Take Note I

“They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them” Ps.44:3

I am really excited to be alive today and I hope you are too because it is only the living that can praise God [at least on earth]. Usually as seasons change and we approach a new season, even before I became a Pastor, as a Christian I would sit with God and try to discern His mind for the coming season. I believe every believer should do this actually, even on a daily basis. Which is why we have devotions, a time where you can sit quietly with God to get His mind for your life daily.

Over the years, I have had to write down what I believe God was saying was the direction for different seasons and download materials, a lot of materials, to boost my understanding of His direction for me. And personally, I noticed that just a few months after, say three months, I tend to forget what God has said. Does that happen to you? Just a few months after and I am checking my notes just to be reminded and to re-fire myself up.

But some years ago I said to God, I still would love to hear the details but if You are to summarize this year in one word what would it be? One word that I can keep before me at all times. It is easier for me to work with simplicity, I am not a very complex person, and I like things being simple. And God said Establishment and it was fantastic. After that, in another season, God said Bloom. God came through and He is still coming through for us. Take note that Establishment and Bloom have not expired. God is Establishing you and You will continue to Bloom in Jesus Name. And just last year, God said Victory. We trust God that there will continue to be an extension to this nation Nigeria. Our testimony of Nigeria will be that she has been victorious. So what does Victory translate to for us? Three things:

#1: Victory. The first thing is, God will give you victory. “For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’” Deu.20:4 . Who will give you victory? God will give you victory. Some of us have had a running battle for some time. I announce to you today that that battle is coming to an end and it is not going to end in defeat. It is going to end in victory; God will give you victory in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Write it down!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You because I will yet be established and I will bloom without fail. Thank You for the additional promise of victory, in Jesus Name.
