Take Note III
“For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’” Deu.20:4 [emphasis added] .
This year your influence is going to be multiplied, in Jesus Name. And while we keep that at the back of our minds, we should never ever forget our Source. Never ever ever forget your Source. I know these things sound simplistic but I have seen a lot of people shipwreck their faith because they gained victory in one area of life. It is so pathetic. But that will not be your story because you will not forget your Source. “They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them” Ps.44:3. You are going to be victorious this year but it will not be by your strength. Yes, you will work hard but it is going to be by God’s favour, His blinding radiance and countenance. Never ever forget that.
As a church, in God’s Favourite House, we have seen God do awesome things with us. People come to minister and they are blown away. The number one question is how did you do it? How did you get all this? I do not know and I am not confused; it is God. That is why if someone says it is like you are not even doing anything, it is like it is just effortless, I say, “exactly! Because we know Who is doing all the heavy lifting. Unfortunately, we have to consistently remind ourselves because one thing about victory is that it intoxicates. Victory has a way of adding to the spring of your legs and there is nothing wrong in you bouncing. Have you noticed that when nobody is promoted in your organization and you get a double promotion, your steps change? Have you noticed that if you have been trusting God for the fruit of the womb then suddenly you have twins, what happens? Subconsciously, you do not mean to be proud but there is just a spring to your step. And there is nothing wrong with it in itself. But never forget where it came from. “They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them” Ps.44:3. Never ever, ever forget your Source.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are my Strength when I am weak, even when I am strong Lord, I acknowledge that it is Your Strength at work in me, in Jesus Name.
