Key Thoughts IV
“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him” Heb.11:6.
I know of someone that joined NASA because he wanted to go to space. But NASA was not really taking people to space. So he left NASA and created his own company. Today, he is giving people the space experience. Do not get satisfied too easily. I pray that God will give you a holy dissatisfaction because until you get dissatisfied, you cannot make progress. Until you are dissatisfied with where you are, you would not seek the next level.
“Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise… A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.” Prov.6:6, 10-11. Do not fold your hands. I am not saying you should not rest. Please rest but get back to work and do not fold your hands. Twenty-four hours appears not to be enough these days because there is so much to do, so much grounds to take, so much! Be diligent and not lazy.
And finally, faith in place of risk aversion. God wants us to fuel our faith [the ability to step into the unknown, the ability to see the invisible, hear the inaudible, and do the impossible]. It requires faith. It requires taking steps that everyone around you, will think you are crazy. But you know what God has put in your gut and you move. The more you are able to do that in the right direction, the more your destiny will be accelerated. Why? Because there can be no progress without risk taking.
Even with God, spiritually, you cannot not make progress without taking risks. “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him” Heb.11:6. You cannot even draw close to God if you do not have faith. God cannot even become real to you if you do not take risks based on the Word of God. The more you draw closer to God, the more God owns you, the more God can economize you and manage you. Just write that down and put it before of you.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, empower me to be generous, to be patient, to be diligent, and to have faith. Flush out greed, impatience, laziness and risk aversion, in Jesus Name.
