Keep Pushing!

“Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on water towards Jesus” Matt.14:28-29

Miracles happen outside of your comfort zone. Sometimes, people experience God leading them in certain directions in their finances. Directions that force you to question the leading and you think, God, are You leading me to do this? You hear people ask questions like, how can God ask me to give my all? Do you know how long I have waited for this break through? It is because the miraculous happens only outside your comfort zone.

For some of us, our giving has become “comfortable”. When we started giving that amount, it used to stretch us. But because of our faith, God has blessed us so much and that amount does not stretch us anymore. You are giving it and do not even feel anything or give it much thought. That is your comfort zone; miracles do not happen there. You need to push out of your comfort zone because that is where miracles happen. I always, always, push myself outside of my comfort zone. And I can tell you, by God’s grace, every time, every single time, miracles happen. And guess what? Before long, that place that used to be outside my comfort zone becomes my comfort zone. So I push even further. You need to keep pushing.

Jesus wanted to heal a blind man and He spat on the man’s face. Is that not insulting? And for another, He spat on the ground and made mud with it and rubbed it on the man’s face. How can He do that? Did they receive their sight? I have a feeling that something strange is going to happen this season, to the glory of God. Be open to the supernatural! Step out!

#2.       You need to respond appropriately to God. The second thing you need to do to be open to the supernatural is to respond appropriately to God. Ezekiel’s Response: “Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?”O Sovereign Lord,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.Eze.37:3 [emphasis added]. Fantastic response. Mary’s Response: “Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” Luke.1:34 Fantastic response. Martha’s Response: “Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise again.” “Yes,” Martha said, “he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day.” John 11:23-24.

Prayer: Spirit of God, please take  me beyond my comfort zone and help me align with God’s heart, in Jesus Name.
