Big Picture

“Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” Eze.37:3 [emphasis added]

Looking at the story of Ezekiel, he was put in a very interesting situation. We have the privilege of reading Ezekiel 37 but Ezekiel did not have the privilege of reading it.  We have seen the whole story and we can tell the dry bones will live. But Ezekiel was right in the middle of the story and that is how some of us feel right now. Just step back from your story and read the whole story, the dry bones will live again. “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you” Rom.8:11 [emphasis added].

Everyone that is sick in the body, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, by the Power of the Holy Spirit, receive life, in the Name of Jesus. We have the privilege of stepping back and looking at the big picture. Ezekiel did not have that  privilege. We can step back and see what Christ has done for us on the cross of Calvary and know that we can move from death to life.

In Scripture, we encounter God asking His people again and again, what do you see? Why? It is because a lot depends on what you see. And what you see shows if you are aligned with God or not. When God asks what do you see, He is checking to see if you are aligned with Him. Can you see what God is seeing? God said to Abraham, come out, look up, what do you see? Abraham said I see stars. And God says, can you count them? God just wants us to be aligned.

God said to the children of Israel, go in to the land of Canaan and tell Me what you can see. It was just an issue of our element. God just wanted them to go in to the Promised Land, come back and tell Him what they saw? Are we aligned on this? Twelve went, ten came back with the report of giants and two came back with the report of the land flowing with milk and honey. And they were looking at the same thing. God is saying to you, Can these bones live? What do you see? Your response will determine whether you will stay in the wilderness or you will enter in to the Promised Land.

Prayer [song]: I see the Lord (2x), exalted high upon the worship of the people of the earth. I see the Lord (2x), my eyes have seen the King, the Lamb upon the throne who reigns forever more. Amen!
