With Jesus & With You
“Because you are special to Me and I love you, I gladly give up other peoples in exchange for you; They are trivial by comparison to your weighty significance” Isa.43:4 [Voice]
Man was not the first of God’s creation to rebel against God. Lucifer and a third of the angels turned their back on God. They rebelled against God. But when satan [as he is known now] fell, God did not come to save him. In fact, his judgment awaits him. But when man fell, God came for us. That is love and that is Christmas in a nutshell. Jesus came to save us. So every time a savior is born, the devil is irritated and makes a lot of effort to kill him. You can trace this through Biblical history. Moses was a savior, a type of Jesus. When he was born, the devil tried to kill him. All the babies were killed because for the devil, it was a reminder that God is coming for His people. When Jesus was born, when the Savior was born, the devil tried to kill Him. And it was because the Savior had come for His people.
When you stand tall in your life, in your industry, in Nigeria, in your home and you fulfill your destiny, the devil will try to attack you. But since he failed with Jesus, he will fail with you, in Jesus Name. When you have a God given dream, when you have given back to that business that God has given you, or that career path that God has given you, the devil will attack and try to kill it. The good news for you is, the devil failed with Jesus and the devil will fail with you.
A friend of mine had to go through a lot in his life. He told us that the devil was consistently telling him that his life was useless, that he will amount to nothing, that nobody wants or likes him. He said he even almost committed suicide. Then one day he said to the devil, if this life is so useless then why all this effort to kill it? There must be something about this life that you are trying to stop. From that day, his life turned around.
If your life, your destiny, your marriage is so useless, why is the devil making so much effort to destroy and to stop it? If Jesus was so useless, why did the devil make so much effort to kill Him? But he failed with Jesus and he will fail with you. The good news of Christmas is that the sons of men can become the sons of God [John 1:12]. So that the reality of, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, becomes crystal clear. The good news of Christmas is that you have become indestructible.
Prayer [song]: Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, because He lives all fear is gone, because I know He holds the future and life is worth the living just because He lives. Amen!
