In Response To…

2 Chr.16:9 “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him”

The second way to provoke God’s favour and make heaven decide on your behalf is by Pleasing God. You can provoke favour by pleasing God. Pleasing God unlocks God’s favour. Ruben was in line to receive the double blessing but he went out of favour with Jacob. May you not go out of favour, in Jesus Name. 2 Chron.16:9 says, “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” God is looking for people to favour and I pray that He will find you, in Jesus Name. God is looking for a group of people to favour and He has found us in God’s Favourite House. “Here we are Lord, look no further.”

Cain and Abel brought a sacrifice to God. God rejected Cain’s but accepted Abel’s sacrifice. May God not reject your sacrifice, in Jesus Name. When you give an offering to or when you bring a seed to God, always remember that He reserves the right to accept or to reject it. This will help you and it will help you approach God with caution – This is what I do. God said to Cain, “If you had done well, would you not have been accepted?”

The difference between religion and relationship is this: with religion we give out of obligation, tithe out of obligation, and serve out of obligation. It is different from a relationship – Relationship is a response, by the depth of Relationship, we give in response to God’s love. In relationship, giving is in response to God’s love and acceptance. In religion, giving is done to get God’s acceptance and love. So with relationship, we tithe in response to God’s provision and with acknowledgment that He is our Source. It is so important for us to understand this so we can approach God with the right heart.

The Scriptures say that David was a man after God’s own heart. David loved God. God loves each and every one of us the same way but our love for God is at different levels. Our responses to God also vary, and then we find God’s response is different based on each individual’s response – that is what separates folks. God says to David, “I will give men for your life”. Why would He do that? It is because David’s response to God’s love was unique. You need to get this and I pray you get it, in Jesus Name.

Prayer: I declare that I will love the Lord with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my strength. I declare that I will seek God’s heart daily, in Jesus Name.
