Proof

John 10:3-4 “…the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice”

It is so important for you to hear God for yourself. If you cannot hear God for yourself, people will attempt to lead you in their own direction. My advice is, go into your closet and pray. Ask your Father in heaven and He will speak to you about His heart for you. God is not an author of confusion.

Some people even go to the extent of threatening others with the statement, “God said…”. One gentleman said to a lady, “Do you want to disobey God? God had said you are my wife and you are trying to be rebellious?” When she came to me, I said, “I can tell you of a fact that that is not your husband!” By God’s grace, I hear God. I cannot even begin to tell you the number of times people have come to me claiming God told them to tell me ABCD. And while he or she is speaking, God is saying, do not to pay attention to what he or she is saying. In fact, someone I really respect came to my house. He had gone on a dry fast and gone to a secluded place to pray. He said to me, “God said xyz”. And because I really respect him, I said, “let me get back to you on this”. I checked with God and God was not even in the project at all. That really scared me.

I have my stories and I am sure you have your stories of counterfeit, “thus says the Lord”. However, the existence of a counterfeit is actually proof of the original. If there is a fake iPhone for instance, it actually proves that there is an original iPhone. If you can find a fake in the market, it is proof that the original exists. If there are fake declarations of, “thus says the Lord”, it means the original exists. I pray that you will come in contact with the Original in this season, in Jesus Name.

Heb.1:^1-2 “Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets.  And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son…” God, the Most High God, wants to talk directly to you. You and I need to wrap our minds around this truth and receive it. God wants to talk to you directly.  Say aloud, God wants to talk to me directly.

Prayer: Father, today I open my heart to this truth that You want to speak to me directly and I commit to listening for Your voice, in Jesus Name.
