iWorship

Ps.147:10 (ERV)War horses and powerful soldiers are not what he cares about. 11 The Lord enjoys people who worship him and trust in his faithful love. 12 Jerusalem, praise the Lord! Zion, praise your God!

Our final lesson about fine-tuning from prophets John the Baptist and Habakkuk is worship.

Lesson#6. I must worship: Spend time thanking God for speaking to you. Hab.3:2 [LB, emphasis added] “O Lord, now I have heard Your report, and I worship You in awe…” The truth is, when you receive God’s response to a question, it makes you love Him more! There is something about God’s response that deepens our love for Him. I hope you get this because no matter how hard I try, I will not be able to explain this to you. You have to experience it for yourself.

This is why sharing testimonies of what God has done and testimonies of who God is, never gets old. Imagine a Word of Knowledge comes in a Worship Experience and the Lord reveals something only He could know. Then someone comes up to testify about how that Word brought life to a dead situation, or healing, or breakthrough, or light. God is magnified! And I say to God, “So that was really you?” Not that I did not know it was God because there is no way I or any human being could have known that. But following God is totally exciting; totally exciting! I can never get used to that. It just never gets old! I hope you feel the same way. Ps. 147:11 [ERV] The Lord enjoys people who worship him and trust in his faithful love”.

So in order for me to fine-tune I must – want, withdraw, wait, watch, write, and worship. All these things are possible when you know God. Until you know God, you cannot hear Him. Many of us just recognize that God exists. Some people move from recognition to acquaintance. God wants to be your friend.

The whole idea of hearing God is so that there is communication. You can talk to Him and He can talk to you. You tell Him what is on your mind and you can know His mind. Can friends who do not talk to each other be friends for long? Can spouses who do not talk to each other stay married for long? That marriage will be very strenuous. You have to talk to God. But for you to talk to God, you have to accept Him and declare Him Lord over your life. I pray you take this step today [Please read Job 22:21]

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I yield and submit myself to You, to be conformed to Your will and be at peace. And as Your Word promises, I will see God’s goodness, in Jesus Name. Amen!
