Keep Going!

Isa.35:3 “With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees. 4 Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”

God is thoroughly equipping us to banish, expel, get rid of, and to eradicate the fear of failing from our lives. Do not be casual about this season, there is nothing simple about God’s work in our lives. If we could achieve these things in our strength, God would not have sent us a Helper. The truth is you and I need help so please submit to the Holy Spirit.

A lot of the time, the factors that cause failure are totally out of our control. There are so many things that are out of our control. For instance, when you were born is out of your control. The family you were born into is out of your control. The country you were born into is out of your control. After you have chosen to marry someone, what the person does is out of your control. What kills people prematurely is trying to control what is out of their control. It is out of your control, so let it go!

Gal.6:9 “We must never get tired of doing good because if we don’t give up the struggle we shall get our harvest at the proper time”  [JB]. Every harvest has a proper time so just keep going. I am certain that everyone wants to be successful. God wants you to be successful and you will be successful in Jesus Name. However, the path to success is failure. You need to understand this otherwise you will kill yourself prematurely. I have started so many business initiatives and some died on arrival, some worked for a few months, some went on for a few years. Big deal if it fails! You get up and you go again because the righteous man has staying power. You cannot afford to get tired because your harvest is on the way.

The reward God promises is for those that overcome the fear of failing and keep going. In the parable of the talents, do you think the first two servants were not afraid of failing? Did they not consider the same things that the third servant considered about their master? But in spite of that, they stepped out, took a risk and in the end they were rewarded for it. There is a reward awaiting you when you overcome so keep going. Do not get tired and do not give up the struggle. When you fail learn from it, get up again and just keep on going.

Prayer:  Father, in the Name of Jesus, I speak courage and strength to my heart. Amen!
