Re-New
Prov. 24:16 “For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again.” [with emphasis]
Today, we will continue to draw strength and inspiration as well as challenge ourselves with the story of Ray Crock, the founder of McDonalds. He did not just start off a billion dollar company at the age of fifty-two, many other people became billionaires because one man chose to stick it out! What is your excuse? Locate that excuse and trash it! Not many of us reading this today have turned fifty-two or even forty years of age. You are not hopeless. You are going to be great and it is never too late to start up–never!
Sixth Evaluation: How strong is your will to persist?
- If you find out that you give up easily when you face a problem, then you are one on the scale of one to ten.
- If when you get criticized you get discouraged and give up, that is four and it is less than average.
- If you never give up, regardless of the problem and in spite of the criticism, in fact it does not faze you. If you have made up your mind to be all that God has called you to be, you are a ten.
It is now time to add up your scores from your first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth evaluations. And this is what it translates to: if your total score is fifty-five and above, you are definitely on the right path. But you have not arrived, so keep pressing until you reach and surpass the mark.
If your score is between fifty-five and forty-five, then you need to get someone to help you find out what is wrong in whatever areas you are struggling. If your score is in the range of forty-four and below, you need to rebirth yourself.
And the way to achieve that rebirth is to sit with the Six Winning Ways of Solomon until they are burned into your heart and flowing through your actions. Work on the areas where your scores are average and then take the evaluation again. Continue to repeat this process until you are on the right path and then keep pressing. Resolve to stick it out, Economize your time and energy, Never stop learning, Never make excuses, Insist on integrity, and Work with a purpose – renew your mind and rebirth yourself.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, please give me the capacity to follow through with the dreams you have put in my heart and every task you have placed in my hands, in Jesus Name. Amen!
