Heavenly Jerusalem

Matt.18:20 (NIV) “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Let this consciousness be in you consistently; you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the Living God. To countless thousands of angels; To the Assembly of God’s firstborn

children whose names are written in heaven; To God Himself, who is the judge over all things. And to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect.

#6. When you step into your place of devotion, when as a church we gather to worship and lift our hands, and when we lift up our voices in praise, the Word of God says we have come to Jesus, the One who mediates the new covenant between God and people. You have not just come to mark attendance, it is not just about showing up for devotion or in church, you have not just come to perform a religious rite, you have come to Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant! Totally profound!

#7. The Word of God says that we have come to the sprinkled Blood and that is so important. The Blood is like no other; it speaks better things than the blood of Abel. Why is the Blood so important when you come before God? The Blood is key because it is by the sacrifice of Jesus that we can have access to God’s Presence. When the enemy comes to condemn you, the Blood of Jesus speaks to cleanse you. And the Bible says when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us. When we fellowship, the Blood of the Son cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

Coming to God, it is important to understand the environment you have walked into. You should show up at your office, in your businesses, in your home with an unexplainable aura around you because in this season, your life will change completely. Now you know that when you enter God’s Presence, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the Living God. To countless thousands of angels. To the Assembly of God’s firstborn children whose names are written in heaven. To God Himself, who is the judge over all things. And to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect. To Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant and to the Blood that speaks for you and I.

Prayer: Father, because I have not come to an ordinary place but to the Living God, let there be nothing ordinary about me, in Jesus Name. Amen!
