Unconditional Love

Rom.4:7 “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. 8 Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin.”

I remember when growing up that I was not the most obedient child. Yet even though I was that troublesome, I was never thrown out to the dogs. Regardless of how much trouble I caused, no one in my family ever saw me in harm’s way and look the other way. Now I have a heavenly Father, that loves me far more than anyone has ever and could ever love me. What makes you think that God will throw you out to the dogs? He would never do that. Your friends may still be calling you by your sinful name, your siblings may still think you are useless, your friends that know your horrible past may still think terrible things about you. But God says rejoice because in Christ your record is cleared of sin. When the enemy comes with accusations against you and God will say there is no such record – cleared!

You are unstoppable because you are uncursable but remain uncursable! You are uncursable, remain uncursable. Please read Numbers 25; after Balaam had tried to curse God’s people and he could not but began to bless them instead, Balak said to him, I wanted to make you rich, but God has withdrawn your riches from you so go home. Then Balaam gave Balak the secret and it is explicitly stated in the Book of Revelations. Balaam said to Balak, their God loves them too much but that love is the strength and it is also the weakness. God loves them so much that you cannot curse them, there is nothing you can do against them. But if you make them sin against Him, He Himself will destroy them because God is a jealous God.

God has emotions; God loves, God gets angry, God is patient, God is a jealous God. God did not change after the Old Testament. Some people think the God of the New Testament is a born-again God. What changed is the access to God, God remains the same. So, if God was holy in the Old Testament, he is holy in the New Testament. If He was just in the Old Testament, He is just in the New Testament. If God was jealous in the Old Testament, guess what? God is still jealous over His own people. Based on the intelligence from Balaam, Balak went to his people, they got their women and threw them into the camps of the Israelites. The men of Israel went berserk, committing fornication and adultery. The women took them to the altars of their gods and the men worshipped with them. God became angry and a plague broke out. Stay on the path that God has put you on so that the enemy’s arrows will not come near you.

Prayer: Father, I will keep Your Words hidden in my heart so that I will never sin against You, in Jesus Name. Amen!
