Current Not Permanent
Psalm 40:17 “[As for me] I am poor and needy, yet the Lord takes thought and plans for me. You are my Help and my Deliverer. O my God, do not tarry!” (AMPC).
To be released into more, the first thing that is required is an Honest Admittance of Current Situation. What is your current situation? Do not be dishonest, just say it like it is because that situation can change. Naomi came back into town and the Bible tells us that the entire town was excited. She must have been some sort of celebrity to get the entire town excited. But Naomi said in Ruth 1:20-21 “Don’t call me Naomi,” she responded. “Instead, call me Mara, … I went away full, but the Lord has brought me home empty. Why call me Naomi…?” Naomi was brutally honest. l have heard, even though it does not make scientific sense, of people who have given birth to children without a womb. The truth is that there is nothing God cannot do.
I do not doubt it. But you have to be honest about your current situation. l need not tell you what happened in the case of the couple from yesterday. Another story is told of a man who was in debt to the tune of hundreds of millions of naira at the time. It was a lot of money, and he did not tell his intending wife. After they got married, the creditors started threatening to take the woman’s new-born baby. So, they went to see their Pastor and the Pastor asked the man, “Why didn’t you tell her that you were in debt?” And the man said, “That is not my portion. l see green in my account in the Name of Jesus!” Just say it as it is. This is the current situation.
The Pastor said, “You are in red, and you are saying that is not your portion?” Yes, you are blessed with spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. But it is in heavenly places until you connect to the principles of God, and you bring them and manifest them on earth. It is what it is for now. Pastor, but the Bible says, “Let the weak say l am strong” (Joel 3:10), and let the poor say I am rich.” “Then you should have told her that you are saying you are rich because you are actually poor.” Let the poor say… means the situation is poor but say I am rich. But before you can say are rich, you need to first admit that you are poor.
To be released into more, the second thing that is required is Navigate The Altars. Judges 6: 24 “And Gideon built an altar to the Lord there and named it Yahweh-Shalom (which means “the Lord is peace”). The altar remains in Ophrah in the land of the clan of Abiezer to this day.” Gideon had an encounter with God, and he took the initiative to build an altar to God. If you look at the situation that Gideon was in, you will probably wonder why he named the altar Yahweh-Shalom (which means “the Lord is peace”). What is the correlation with peace? Take it to the Lord and He will reveal the secret things in His Word to you in Jesus Name.
Prayer: Father, I admit that I am poor and needy, yet the Lord thinks of me and plans for me. You are my Help and my Deliverer, so help and deliver me, Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen!
