Much More
Genesis 26:12 “Isaac planted seed in that land, and that year he gathered a great harvest. The Lord blessed him very much” (NCV)
Jeremiah 23:1 “What sorrow awaits the leaders of my people—the shepherds of my sheep—for they have destroyed and scattered the very ones they were expected to care for,” says the Lord.” Sadly, some leaders of nations are eating the future and destiny of generations to come. And they do not care because it is not going to happen in their time. Parents are making horrible decisions that will affect their children. But they do not care since it will not happen in their time. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2&5 “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven… A time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to scatter… and a time to gather… stones….” You harvest in a different season than you plant. You have sown a seed in a season, do not worry, your harvest is coming. It will overtake you; you cannot escape it.
The seventh law of planting is You Always Harvest More Than You Plant. And this applies both ways. If you plant kindness, you will harvest so much kindness, much more than you planted. If you plant hatred, you will harvest hatred much more than what you planted. Pastor let’s pray people just hate me. The question is what are you planting? If you plant gossip, what will you harvest? If you plant generosity, you will find out that people everywhere will be generous towards you, helping you. Your children will get to places and people will just want to help them even when you are not there. Guess what? It is the seed of generosity that you planted, your children are reaping the harvest.
Genesis 26:12 “Then Isaac planted [seed] in that land [as a farmer] and reaped in the same year a hundred times [as much as he had planted], and the Lord blessed and favoured him.” (AMPC). So, Isaac planted seed where he was living and that year, he gathered a hundred-fold harvest from what he planted because the Lord blessed him. The Lord blesses you. You will harvest a hundred-fold in Jesus Name. Amen. Some people cannot even say Amen to this prayer because they are awakened now to the reality of the bad seeds they have sown. I pray that you will harvest a hundred-fold in the Name of Jesus (say Amen). I say Amen because, by the grace of God, I always sow good seeds. If you cannot, then know that you need to set your ways right and put your house in order.
Prayer: Father, I ask for the grace to consistently sow the right seeds with the future in focus, such that my generations forever will reap a harvest of goodness, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
