Knock It Down!
2 Corinthians 10:4 “We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.”
You have mighty power in God and one of the weapons God has given to us is His Word. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit…” There is a lady I was praying with years ago. She was very intelligent. She actually trains her friends for professional exams. She studies for a professional exam, but as soon as she steps into the exam hall, she has a mind attack. It was a case of strongholds that were positioned so that as soon as she entered the exam hall, she began to panic. She becomes so incoherent, that she is unable to write her exam, and she always fails. We had to pray and demolish the strongholds and God gave us victory.
Do not take things for granted, program your mind with your words. Strongholds are designed to be impregnable. I pray that your life will be impregnable in the Name of Jesus. A stronghold is designed to be difficult to breach with thick walls, fortified gates, and other defences. Your life will be fortified and defended in the Mighty Name of Jesus. A stronghold offers a defensible position that allows defenders to repel attacks and hold out against sieges. You have to be deliberate as you build, expand, and enlarge to take up defensible positions. And God will give you the wisdom in the Name of Jesus. Strongholds are resistant to change. That same thing that is the strength of a stronghold can also be the weakness. The stronghold is difficult to overcome because it is a huge infrastructure that has been established, and consequently, it is resistant to change. A stronghold is not nimble. You cannot pack up a stronghold and go and pitch it somewhere else.
What reinforces mental strongholds are emotional attachments. Emotional attachments make it difficult to abandon certain things, even when they are no longer serving a useful purpose. There was a lady back in the day, who God had given a good man. She was about to get married at that time, but she was always destroying her relationships by herself. Why? After a lot of prayers and investigation, we discovered the source was a teddy her ex gave her. She goes home, hugs the teddy, and it brings up the emotional attachment to the ex which had become a stronghold preventing her from moving forward. So, she will pick a fight and scatter the relationship. Then she regrets it. God brings a good man again, and the cycle continues. We burnt the teddy. The only thing negative emotional attachments do is keep people bound.
Prayer: Father, I tear down every negative emotional attachment, in Jesus Name. Amen!
