With Prayer
Luke 11:9-10 “And so it is with prayer—keep on asking and you will keep on getting; keep on looking and you will keep on finding; knock and the door will be opened. Everyone who asks, receives; all who seek, find; and the door is opened to everyone who knocks.” (LB)
Enlargement stretches you, right? Yes, it does. So, I want us to begin today’s devotion time by spending some time in prayer. As we pray, God will grant our requests in Jesus Mighty Name.
#1. Psalm 50:23 “But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me…”. I want you to say thank you to our Father, to our God, to our Maker. I want you to find it in your heart and use your voice to appreciate God. Just thank Him, worship Him, give Him praise, adore our King.
#2. 1 Chronicles 4:10 “Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.” (NIV). Ask that God will bless you indeed and enlarge your territory, your sphere of influence to the North, South, East, and West. Let’s lift up our voices and let us pray. Ask God to lay His hands upon you and keep evil far away from you, your dwelling, and your family, for church.
#3. Psalm 24:7-10 “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory.” (KJV). Now, I want you to speak in the authority of Christ to every gate before you, before the enlargement that God has for you. Lift up your heads on ye gates and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors and the King of Glory shall come in. The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
The significance of what God is going to do in your life is this: the records that have been forgotten, the books are being opened in your favour in the Name of Jesus. The files are being retrieved and they are being opened in your favour in the Name of Jesus. And so we thank God for that which eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and for that which has not even begun to enter to the hearts of men that is breaking forth in every life in the Mighty Name of Jesus. God’s Word to us over the next few days is Don’t Settle. The truth is everyone is betting their lives on something consciously or unconsciously. Even the atheist is betting his life on the fact that there is no God. Muslims, Buddhists, Jews, and Scientologists are betting their lives on something. But we are betting our lives on Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for enlargement and the capacity required, in Jesus Name. Amen!
