Designed To

Matthew 13:9 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”

For enlargement to happen, growth is required. And for growth to occur strength is needed. Yet, even when we desire growth, we sometimes don’t have the strength to birth the new things that we envision. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, over the next few days, heaven will release to us the strength required for growth. Please read Matthew 13:3-9. It is a passage that we are familiar with. However, every encounter with God’s Word is new. Matthew 13:9 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.” Every time Jesus finishes a parable with this statement, personally, I step back and pay attention.

Growth is expected. No one expects that after sending a child to school for the required period, the child is not able to pass his or her exams. And it is because growth is expected. It is okay to expect growth, even in your personal life, you should expect growth from yourself. It is horrible to live a life where you don’t expect growth from yourself. Some people are not interested in anything that will make them uncomfortable. They just want to coast through life. Heaven expects growth. Remember the story of Jesus and the Fig Tree? Jesus inspected the tree, expecting fruit (growth) from it. God always check our lives periodically because He expects fruit (growth) from us. Meaning that things you used to do that were okay are no longer okay.

Sadly, many people are weak towards growth. A lot of people lack the strength that produces growth. I pray that you will receive the strength for growth in the Mighty Name of Jesus. The truth is it takes strength to grow. It takes strength for the grain you planted to push through and break through the soil. Growth is expected and the lack of growth is inexcusable. You have gone through school; you have been educated and resourced. But you cannot pass your exam? There is something wrong with that. You need to buckle down because you were designed and created to grow. You were created to overcome whatever adversity that may come your way.

I love to talk about this parable because Jesus says if you don’t understand it, then you cannot understand any other parable. In other words, you can’t understand the Kingdom of God because it was only by parables that He taught about the Kingdom of God. This is the parable of life.

Prayer: Father, please give me the strength for the growth that heaven requires of me in every season of my life, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
